Kokotu, one of Beryl's seconds sat in his lair in
front of his mirror. "Platinum Rose is a fool!" He
scowled, trying to fix his hair," She shames us all,
by letting children beat her!" One day..... Kokotu
smiled to himself. -I will overthrow the Queen and
take my place!
"Kokotu!" A voice rang out in his lair," I want
you to take care of this mission!"
"Yes, my Queen." A sly smile came over his face.
It has begun.
He heard a laugh from behind, "The Queen must be
getting desperate! Hah!"
"Shut up you slave! How did you get in here so quietly?!
Don't you knock you-" He turned away from the mirror
to see a very attractive young lady. "Roketta! Do
forgive me, I didn't know it was you!"
She walked up to him coolly, the grabbed his hair
and gave it a yank, "You know, I don't appreciate
being called a 'slave'!"
Kokotu rubbed his head in pain, "And look what you
did! It took me at least an half an hour to part my
hair!!"
"Oh, that’s too bad. Looks like poor Kokotu will
have to part it again."
Kokotu scowled," What do you want anyway?!"
"I want to take on this mission Queen Beryl gave
you. I have a great plan."
"Hmph..... all right......" Kokotu gave in.
Roketta smiled, darkness surrounded her, her eyes
glowed, and she disappeared.
Tenshi and Tama were sitting in class talking waiting
for Ms. Haruna to come. Tama had tried to wake Niomi
up, but she wouldn't get up so Tama left.
"Hey! DID YOU GUYS HEAR THE MOST FAB NEWS?!" Niomi
ran in shouting, mostly to Tama and Tenshi.
"What?!" Tama and Tenshi perked up.
"A locket store opened up really close to here!!
WE MUST GO!"
"Of course....." Tenshi grumbled.
"Well, we should expect that from Niomi." Tama pointed
out.
Their friend Yuriko was listening in, "Oh that's
old news!"
"Everything's old news for the gossip column writer...."
Tama grumbled as Tenshi laughed nervously.
"HEY!WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!"
"Sorry... remember my policy???"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah... nobody can know anything you
write in your gossip column until you write it..."
"Okay!" Miss. Haruna walked in, "Class take your
seats and open your books to page thirty-three." Niomi
sighed, school was so boring, she'd have to wait until
the afternoon to go shopping.
"YA-HOO! SCHOOL'S OVER! WE CAN GO TO THE LOCKET STORE!"
Niomi cheered happily. Tama rolled her eyes, she,
Tenshi, Yuriko, and Niomi walked downtown.
"Hey now I know how Niomi eats so much, but never
gains weight." Tenshi said.
"How?"
"All this walking to downtown and back."
"Not to mention all the talking she does!" Tama
added. Everyone but Niomi started laughing.
"Hey! Don't make fun I'm a very sensitive person!"
Niomi frowned.
"OK, ok. We were just teasing." Tama said.
Niomi was darting from display to display, "OOHHHH!!!
Look at all these lockets!! How do I pick which one
to buy?????"
Tama sighed,"I think the question is more like: 'Oh,
which one can I afford?'??" Niomi frowned at Tama.
"Oh hey! You gotta come here!" Yuriko waved to Niomi.
Niomi ran over to Yuriko who was standing next to
a case. She pointed to a beautiful locket.
Niomi is almost speechless,"It's so pretty!"
Tama and Tenshi walked over, they both gasp. "I love
it!" Tenshi exclaimed.
"I hope I have enough for it!" Niomi's eyes shined.
In the back room where Roketta is Kokotu appeared,
"Roketta!"
"Yes hair freak?" She snickered.
"Don't call me that!"
"OK OK, Yes Kokotu?"
"That's better! Now how is the plan working?"
"Just better than ever!"
"That's great. I had a dream one night, my mirror
spoke to me. It said I must overthrow the Queen and
find the Ruby Grail!"
Roketta looked at Kokotu like he was insane, "You
been in front of that mirror way to long, Kokotu.
You’re losing it..."
"Am not!"
"Yes drill Sergeant!" Roketta saluted him then walked
into the store area.
"How do I put up with her?" Kokotu sighed.
Roketta dressed as a sales person began to talk to
Niomi and Yuriko,"Can I help you ladies? You look
kinda sad. I’m sure a locket will cheer you up."
Tama eyed Roketta then whispered to Tenshi and Niomi,
"There’s something strange about that lady, stay on
your guard."
Tenshi nodded, but Niomi said, "Don’t be silly Tama!
You’re way too obsessed with this Celestial business!"
Tama countered with,"Well you’re way too obsessed
with Oreo cookies and boys!!"
Roketta being very nosy said, "Boys, did you say?
We’ve got a whole line of lockets here that brings
you good luck in boys!!"
"REALLY?? " Niomi and Yuriko looked surprised and
happy.
"There right here.." Roketta pointed to a shelf.
I'm gonna find out what's really up- Tama motioned
for Tenshi to follow her. They went to the back storage
room.
"Oh look at all those people!" Tenshi exclaimed.
"Here take a closer look." Roketta held the amulet
up close to Yuriko's forehead. Yuriko groaned and
fell over. Roketta turned to Niomi and transformed
to her original form.
"Oh no....." Niomi stared at Roketta not sure what
to do. Why is Tama always right when it's bad.....?
"Hey girl, we have a special on lockets they drain
your energy real fast, no pain that way!"
"No.... no that's all right really........" Niomi
started backing towards the door.
Roketta slimed her way behind Niomi, "Going so soon?
Maybe you should see this one!" She held up a shimmering
pink locket, the music was entrancing, "This one is
called 'Siren's Song'...."
Niomi sighed softly, "It's so beautiful." She felt
weaker, but didn't care.
"Niomi!" A shout came from the back.
"Hey let her go lady!"
"Oh and if I don't?"
"SUN FIERY ILLUSIONS!" The fire burned Roketta's
hand and incinerated the locket.
Still Roketta held Niomi in a headlock and began
to choke her, "You seem to care about this one, back
off or she's dead!" Niomi bit Roketta. Roketta still
held her, but was no longer choking her.
"NIOMI DOWN!" Someone shouted. In a spilt second
Niomi wriggled from Roketta and transformed. Someone
shouted an attack and Roketta's arm had been blown
off. Roketta let out an ear-piercing scream. The arm
slid across the floor and disintegrated. Green goo
gushed from her arm.
Sailor Comet vomited behind the locket cases a few
times. Then she got ready for her attack. "ICY TORNADO
WATER WINDS!!!" She screamed.
Roketta was frozen green goo and all. "OK, do it
again! CELESTIAL MUSICAL STRIKE!!" Sailor Constellation's
voice rang out across time, distance, and the shop.
Roketta screamed and soon their voices melded, and
the echoes followed. Roketta was nothing but a burn
stain on the rug and a bit of green goo on the Sailor's
fuku.
The three girls sighed. "That goo is soooooo gross!"
"We noticed you thought so, Niomi." Tama giggled.
Tenshi turned green as the goo.
"DAMN! They aren't as easy to beat as I thought....."
Kokotu grumbled in front of his mirror.
