“Minako! I’m so surprised to see you! What’s up?” A friendly girl at the doorway with purple pajamas on was beaming with delight.

“Hi Yuri! Well, I was wondering if you could help me? My parents are away for the weekend and, being my ditzy self, lost the keys to the house! You know I wouldn’t ask you but since I have no family...”

“Of course Minako! Yes, yes come in and make yourself comfortable- Mom? Guess who it is!”

Minako felt extremely bad. She had never lied to anyone before, especially to a special friend who was inviting her into her home. She thought it was for the better though, she didn’t want anymore sympathy.

A familiar voice sounded from the kitchen, “Minako! I’m so happy to see you! How have you been hun?”

“Oh! Fine Mrs. Shakki, I hope you don’t mind this..”

“No, dear, don’t think anything of it, I’d gladly do an old friend a favor. You must be cold and tired, it’s quite a walk from here! Now, go upstairs and put on one of Yuri’s pajamas. You can sleep in the guest bedroom.”

Minako thanked her profusely and went upstairs with Yuri. She was feeling so different now. She felt like a stranger to herself. She lied, she almost tried to kill herself and now she’s trying to hide all of those feelings just to use an old friend. How she hated herself now. She thought it best to sleep it off.

She climbed into the bed with a ‘good night’ to her old friend. She stared out the window and the stars and slowly drifted off to a restless sleep. She was having the most wonderful dream. Her family was alive again and she was getting married to Darien. All of her friends were laughing and having fun at the wedding.

Everyone was there, except Usagi. She called for her and called for her but she was nowhere to be found. Just then, the whole wedding scene was gone, she was in a dark and gloomy place. She was alone and frightened. She could here a voice, but it was only a whisper. Now, a little louder, she realized it was Usagi’s. She called out to her with no reply.

Suddenly a freezing wind swept over her and she saw Usagi. She was floating up in the air with a long flowing white dress on. She was crying and something was floating down to Minako. She noticed it was Usagi’s crystal. Just when the crystal was about to touch Minako’s stretched out hand, all went black and Usagi screamed.
